These terms cover use of this website and enquiries made through it. If you go on to engage Veitch Ops for dispatch cover, the specific terms of that arrangement (rate, scope, notice period) are agreed directly and separately, in writing, before any work begins — this page covers the website itself, not that agreement.
What this site is
This site describes remote dispatch, call-handling and operational cover provided by Veitch Ops Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17350460. Nothing on this site is a binding offer of service until specific terms have been agreed directly with you.
Enquiries and trial periods
Submitting an enquiry through this site does not create a contract, does not by itself confirm a trial period, and does not entitle any company to a trial. We will review the requested period and operating requirements and confirm arrangements directly.
The flexible trial period operates on the following basis:
- One standard free trial per operating company.
- The duration is agreed in writing around the operator’s needs and our availability.
- No invoice and no obligation to continue.
- Subject to suitability, verification, capacity and an agreed slot.
- No cash alternative.
- Rebooking is subject to availability and confirmation.
- Access and operating information must be supplied safely.
- Either party may stop the trial if continuing would be unsafe or inappropriate.
- Additional or repeat trials require written agreement.
Pricing
Rates for recurring cover are not published on this site, because they depend on the cover actually required. Any rate confirmed to you following an enquiry is valid for the scope described at the time, and may change if the actual scope of work differs once work begins. Agreed rates may be revised, and any change will be confirmed to existing clients before it takes effect.
Our standard onboarding fee is confirmed to you in writing before any work begins. It is waived where recurring cover is agreed within seven days of a completed flexible trial period.
No guaranteed availability
Veitch Ops is not a 24/7 emergency service and doesn't guarantee availability for any specific shift, date or notice period unless explicitly agreed in writing as part of a specific engagement.
Liability
This website and the information on it are provided in good faith, but without guarantee of completeness or that it reflects your specific situation exactly. Nothing on this page limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
